Burger King will open its first Russian operation this week, under license of coffeehouse chain Shokoladnitsa, according to RT.com. The first restaurant will open Jan. 21 in Moscow. The company will be run by Yana Pesotskaya, the former development director for grocery chain Dixy, former head of upmarket of the gastronomic boutique Hediard and a former general director of Retail Profile Russia.
