Burger King has reawakened its appreciation for a good cup of coffee, pushing its BK Joe blend with renewed fervor in 2017, as either a traditional hot cup of caffeine or iced for 99 cents, according to a news release.
"This is the start of a renewed focus on coffee for us," Burger King North America President Alex Macedo said in a news release. "We invested a lot of time developing a new blend and refining the brewing procedures in our restaurants to help us serve a hot and freshly-brewed cup of coffee every time, for every guest."
While not as adorned as the varieties found at that green-and-white logo-bearing restaurant brand, BK Joe can still be augmented with the traditional cream and sweeteners. But the iced version comes blended with cream and lightly sweetened or flavored with vanilla or mocha. Both versions are available for the 99-cent special for a limited time.
