Burgerville celebrates success of gourmet LTOs
February 3, 2010
Burgerville is celebrating a year of offering seasonal gourmet offerings with the return of its Yukon & White Bean Basil Burger. Back by popular demand, last year's initial gourmet, seasonal menu offering features a nine-grain bun with Basil Aioli, lettuce, tomato and a Yukon White Bean patty made with local ingredients including great northern beans, mushrooms and Yukon Gold potatoes.
The vegetarian patty is supplied byChez Gourmet, an Oregon-based company that produces the patties for all of Burgerville's vegetarian burgers, including the Oregon Harvest Burger and the Spicy Anasazi Black Bean Burger. With its partnership with Chez Gourmet, Burgerville continues to maintain its commitment to supporting local vendors and sustainable menu items.
The burger by itself will be $4.79 and a basket costs $7.79.
Since the launch of the new seasonal gourmet offerings, Burgerville has attracted a growing number of young adults, said Burgerville spokesman John Kreuzer.
"With our new, seasonal gourmet food items, we are answering the demand of our younger consumers, who want the convenience and cost savings of quick-service with the quality and uniqueness of a more high-end gourmet establishment," he said. "Today's 20-somethings share Burgerville's eco-minded sentiments and are looking for healthy dining options and authentic and diverse menu selections."
