California Baskin-Robbins settles measurement lawsuit

San Diego Union Tribune: Baskin-Robbins has agreed to settle a California consumer-protection lawsuit for $491,164 in penalties and costs. Officials at the state's Division of Weights and Measures performed inspections at 188 California Baskin-Robbins and found that 83 percent of the hand-packed pints were about 4 ounces light.
