Canada's KFC colonel dies at 91

The Chronicle Herald (Nova Scotia):Halifax, Nova Scotia, entrepreneur Ernest Bertram Edwards died June 25 at the age of 91.

Known as Colonel Ernie, Edwards ran numerous lunch counters and restaurants in Halifax. His company, Edwards Fine Food, brought KFC to the Atlantic region of Canada and eventually grew to operate 26 KFC outlets in the region.
