Canadian restaurant franchisor welcomes new management

Canada-based MTY Food Group Inc., a franchisor and operator of several concepts, including Extreme Pita, Cultures, La Cremiere and Sushi Shop, is restructuring its management team this fall after its CEO and COO leave, according to a company press release.

MTY will have three distinct COOs leading its markets: Marie-Line Beauchamp will lead the casual dining segment, Marc Benzacar will lead the fast casual segment and Jason Brading will lead the QSR concepts. 

Marie-Line previously held positions with Imvescor as COO for Mikes since 2016, and Pizza Delight since July 2017.

Marc Benzacar joined MTY in 2007, as VP of legal affairs and corporate development, working primarily on acquisitions and overseeing the company's legal matters. In 2008, Marc was awarded the SVP position for Sushi Shop, Sushiman and SushiGO.

Brading joined MTY in 2014, as brand VP of the quick service MR.SUB chain, where he has been instrumental in helping the team achieve outstanding results over the past four years, according to the release.

US operations will see no changes, according to the release.
