Sandwich chain Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is partnering with REEF's Neighborhood Kitchens, known for transforming underutilized urban spaces into neighborhood hubs and kitchens, to continue expanding its brand by launching a ghost kitchen space. The launch comes after the brand announced record franchisee performance throughout the year, according to a press release.

Through this partnership, REEF's Neighborhood Kitchen will be serving Capriotti's sandwiches with delivery by UberEats, Postmates, Doordash and Grubhub across most of downtown Baltimore. The menu will feature Capriotti's hand-crafted sandwiches, including their slow roasted turkey in addition to cold, grilled and vegetarian subs, cheese steaks and salads.

"We're thrilled to be working with Capriotti's to help them enter the fast-growing ghost kitchen space for the first time," Carl Segal, REEF COO said in the release. "The chain and its forward-thinking franchisees have seen tremendous success during a time when most restaurants are truly struggling, and the REEF team is excited to be part of this next chapter for such an iconic, long-established brand."

Capriotti's cold, grilled and vegetarian subs, cheese steaks and salads are available at more than 100 locations across the United States.

"Our sandwiches had a humble beginning as a stand-alone sandwich shop in Wilmington, Delaware's Little Italy neighborhood," Capriotti's CEO Ashley Morris said in the release. "Now 40 years later, we continue to imagine new ways to reach our customers and REEF Neighborhood Kitchens network and culinary expertise helps us accomplish that."
