Captain D's, Del Taco license Web-based hiring tool

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Sagittarius Brands Inc., parent company of Captain D's Seafood Kitchen and Del Taco, and Silver Creek Technologies LLC, have announced that Sagittarius has licensed Silver Creek's Sysdine hiring management system to assist the chains in improving employee selection and retention. The rollout of Sysdine into each company-owned Captain D's Seafood Kitchen restaurants was completed in late October.
Sysdine provides a Web-based hiring tool that evaluates potential employees, helping a company hire and retain the best workers for their system's needs. A one-year Sysdine pilot program helped Captain D's reduce hourly employee turnover by more than 100 percentage points and helped the chain achieve a considerable reduction in management turnover, according to a news release.
