Captain D's hires strategic media planning agency

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Captain D's Seafood announced today that Kelly, Scott and Madison of Chicago is now the chain's strategic media planning and placement agency. KSM has begun work in strategically managing and placing media in the chain's 600-store, 26-state footprint. 
 
The announcement comes on the heels of Captain D's unveiling of wholesale changes to its menu, logo and store design. On Aug. 14 at a store in Nashville, Captain D's unveiled a new logo, restaurant design, and a robust, contemporary and expanded new menu that ranges from grilled seafood to pasta. 
 
"We've set an aggressive course for growing our brand and our customer base, and we are happy to have KSM on board with us for this exciting future," said Captain D's chief marketing officer Bob Kendzior. "We believe that KSM brings to Captain D's that rare mixture of strategic and tactical savvy to help us successfully leverage our paid media across the country.
