Captain D's signs new franchise development agreement

Bill Townsend, an existing Captain D's franchisee, has recently committed to adding four additional locations in Alabama and Tennessee.

Townsend has been in the Captain D's system for 11 years and is also a part of the brand's President's Advisory Council.

"The entire Townsend Family and Team is very excited about the direction of our great brand, Captain D's, under the leadership of (CEO) Phil Greifeld," Townsend said.

The new agreement calls for the development of four new restaurants to open within the next five years. Townsend Foods will be expanding the additional units in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Tuscaloosa, Ala.
