San Francisco-based CardFree, a mobile commerce solutions provider, is offering mobile ordering, delivery, contactless order and pay at the table services that allows restaurants to keep the revenue from food orders instead of paying for delivery apps, according to a press release.
Popular food delivery apps such as Uber Eats and DoorDash typically get between 25%-30% for each order placed, costing restaurants revenue. Last year Los Angeles pizzeria Ronan suffered a loss of over $35,000 in delivery app fees.
CardFree charges a monthly fee which also include curbside pickup and text-to-pay as well as order ahead technology.
