Carl's Jr. and Hardee's roll out new shakes and malts

CARPINTERIA, Calif. — CKE Restaurants is taking the Mint Chip Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes & Malts systemwide at Hardee's and Carl's Jr.
The new Mint Chip Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shake features real, hand-scooped vanilla ice cream, mint syrup, chocolate flakes and real milk blended to order, and is topped with whipped cream.
A scoop of malt powder can be added for a classic malt taste. The shakes and malts sell for $2.99 at most company-owned restaurants, although pricing may vary.
