Carl's Jr. expands Guacamole Bacon Burger line

CARPINTERIA, Calif. — Carl's Jr. will offer both a single and double version of its Guacamole Bacon Burger in addition to its popular Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar Burger.
The Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar Burger, which features a charbroiled Black Angus beef patty topped with guacamole, two bacon strips, two pepper-Jack cheese slices, Santa Fe sauce, red onions, tomato and lettuce on a seeded bun, sells for $4.99. The single version sells for $3.29 and the double version sells for $4.29. Prices may vary.
Carl's Jr. prepares its guacamole fresh daily, mixing freshly made salsa with real avocado.
The Guacamole Bacon Burgers have been selected as the official burgers of the California Avocado Festival in addition to being named "Best Burger 2007" by Best of Citysearch. One of the largest street festivals in California, the Avocado Festival, takes place Oct. 3-5 in Carpinteria, Calif., home to Carl's Jr. corporate headquarters.
