"We are excited to build on the strength of our current management team with the addition of these two exceptional hires," CKE CEO Ned Lyerly said in the release. "Lance and Phil will be key contributors as we build on our brands' momentum, innovate and address new consumer behaviors."
Before his role at Jack in the Box, Tucker spent nine years at Papa John's International Inc., most recently serving as senior vice president, CFO, CAO and treasurer. He brings nearly 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the franchise model to CKE, the company said.
"The power of CKE's iconic brands, combined with their experienced management team and franchisee network, represents an exciting opportunity to showcase my strengths as we create value for guests, franchisees and stakeholders," Tucker said in the release. "It's a privilege to support these brands, and I look forward to partnering with the many entrepreneurs who have chosen to bring Hardee's and Carl's Jr. to local communities across the country and around the world."
Prior to Godiva Chocolatier, Crawford was CIO and head of tech at Shake Shack. As CTO at CKE, he will lead the company's information technology function and build a technology roadmap for the brands.
