Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s spice up big chicken sandwich

Carl's Jr. has added a jalapeno version of its Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich, which was first introduced in May. 

According to a news release, the Jalapeno Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich includes a 5-ounce chicken breast fillet seasoned in Southern spices, breaded and served on the brand’s signature Fresh Baked Bun with jalapenos, pepper-Jack cheese, Santa Fe Sauce, lettuce, tomato and red onion.

The Jalapeno Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich is available for $4.49 and may also be ordered in a combo meal with fries and a drink for $6.99. Prices may vary by location.

To promote the new offering and for a limited time, guests can receive a free Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich with the purchase of any Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich combo at participating locations.
