Carl's Jr., Hardee's add two meat-filled omelets to signature biscuits

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's have introduced the new Double Loaded Omelet Biscuit, available today at Hardee's and at Carl's Jr. starting Wednesday.

The savory breakfast item features the chains' signature Made from Scratch Biscuits topped with two folded-egg omelets filled with sausage, ham and bacon pieces, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, and topped with a slice of American cheese.

"Hearty omelets have long been a popular choice for those with a big appetite at breakfast," CMO Brad Haley said in a news release. "The new Double Loaded Omelet Biscuit, packed with three different breakfast meats and 33 grams of protein, is no exception …. That great combination of eggs, sausage, bacon, ham and cheese – times two – will be sure to fill you up in the morning in an absolutely delicious way."

The new offering is available for $2.79 and as a combo meal with hash rounds and choice of drink starting at $4.49.
