KFC garnered plenty of media buzz for its Double Down sandwich, and Carl's Jr. may be trying to follow in the same footsteps. The Fast Food Maven blog reports that Carl's Jr. is testing a Footlong Cheeseburger at select Southern California locations. While blog author Nancy Luna found that sandwich impressive for its 12-inch length, she was disappointed that it featured three small round patties rather than one long rectangular piece and in its taste was relatively ordinary.
The regular Footlong Cheeseburger is priced at $4, and the deluxe version — with lettuce and tomato — is $4.50.
