Carvel introduces salted caramel offerings

Salted caramel is on trend, and Carvel has responded with the launch of its new caramel ice cream flavor that features a hint of salt.

According to a news release, the new flavor is available now through June 29. It can be ordered as:

• Salted Caramel Soft Serve
• Fresh Scooped Salted Caramel with pieces of Heath Toffee Bar
• Salted Caramel Heath Sundae Dasher

"The Carvel brand is all about putting a smile on every face by serving delicious ice cream treats that are handcrafted in our neighborhood shoppes," Carvel President Scott Colwell said in the release. "We're excited to have our loyal guests try these popular new combinations."
