Carvel rolls out holiday signatures

Carvel has announced the return of its holiday-themed ice cream items, including a Santa and a snowman cake. The seasonal menu includes:

• Santa Cake - Featuring layers of vanilla and chocolate ice cream separated by a layer of chocolate crunchies, and covered in icing to resemble Santa. Suggested retail price of $17.99.
• Snowman Cake - Made with layers of vanilla and chocolate ice cream separated by a layer of chocolate crunchies, and covered with white icing with blue, green and red icing on top. SRP of $17.99.
• Lil' Snowmen Novelty Treats - These take-home treats feature soft serve ice cream and are decorated to look like miniature snowmen. SRP of $5.99.

According to a news release, many Carvel Shoppe locations now offer the option to order cakes ahead of time at Carvel.com.
