Checkers and Rally's add to Florida footprint

Checkers and Rally's has opened a restaurant in Lynn Haven, Florida, with local entrepreneur Bob Amin at the helm, according to a press release.

Amin owns another Checkers and Rally's in Panama City Beach. He is also the owner of several other brand units, including Tijuana Flats, Marco's Pizza and Fazoli's.

The Lynn Haven location has an updated prototype. Amin plans to open a third restaurant in Panama City Beach in 2024.

"When I first sought out entrepreneurship with Checkers and Rally's, I was drawn in by the delicious food, the brand's rich history and its presence in the fast-food industry," Amin said in the release. "I recognized Checkers and Rally's as a fantastic addition to my portfolio due to its small-format model and exceptional support they provide to franchisees. It made it a clear choice for me. I see immense potential for growth with the brand because I enjoy becoming an integral part of the community and fueling job growth."

Checkers and Rally's operates 800 restaurants. The company is based in Tampa, Florida.
