Checkers debuts line of premium burgers in S.Fla. market

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. has launched a new Flavor Built Menu, available only in the South Florida market. Residents of Palm Beach and Broward Counties will be the first in the nation to experience the six new Flavor Built Burgers.
After months of taste testing, Checkers has rolled out the new line of premium burgers available as single, double or triple patty offerings in six varieties. The new Flavor Built Burgers include:
1. A.1. Prime Time Steakhouse — Seasoned grilled onions, Cheddar cheese and A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce and a bun swiped with garlic parmesan butter
2. Savory Shroom & Swiss — Sautéed portabella mushrooms, seasoned grilled onions and melted Swiss cheese
3. Backwoods B-B-Q — Peppered bacon, fried onion rings, Ranch Dressing, Cheddar cheese, smoky BBQ sauce and a special blend of BBQ spices
4. Bacon Cheddar Works — Two types of crispy, crunchy bacon; cheddar cheese and other toppings
5. Baconzilla! — Loaded with bacon plus American cheese and cheddar cheese sauce
6. Spicy Queso Bueno —Crispy jalapeños, a fried onion ring, cheddar cheese sauce and fajita grilled onions
"The intense flavors in our Flavor Built Burgers are what you would expect to find at a sit-down restaurant, except without the wait and at a lower price," said Rick Silva, CEO of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc., in a news release. "We truly believe our guests are going to be wowed by our new savory Flavor Built Burgers, and we couldn't be more excited to unveil them in our South Florida restaurants first."
The new Double Built Bacon Cheddar Works burger is available for an introductory price of $2.99 for a limited time only.
Checkers launched the Flavor Built Menu exclusively at 18 of its South Florida restaurants, including Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Coral Spring, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, Fort Pierce, Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Port St. Lucie, Royal Palm Beach, Sebastian, Stuart, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach and Wellington.
