Checkers & Rally's has partnered with the AI-powered subscription-based platform, SiteZeus, as a location intelligence partner for its nearly 900 locations nationally. The brand is using the platform to increase current locations' sales, find new market opportunities, and widen its consumer base more quickly, a news release said.
SiteZeus combines multi-unit brands' performance data with top datasets to produce accurate sales forecasts, which it says not only bypasses the need for a consultant, but speeds up data collection efforts to help brands grow and improve operations.
"We wanted a predictive model that seamlessly incorporates our sales information with third-party data types, such as competitor, traffic count and mobile location," Kris McDonald, senior director of real estate & construction for Checkers & Rally's, said in the release.
Checkers & Rally's wanted flexibility to strengthen existing sites while expanding into new markets. Through the partnership, the company can now deploy predictive models as new sales data emerges, test the impact of adjusting critical site attributes before implementation, and access customer insights through geosocial data with greater speed and predictability, the release said.
"With tighter deviations around projection accuracy, access to valuable consumer behavior data, and the ability to adjust site variables before taking action on them, we can make advantageous decisions quickly," said McDonald. "We believe this will strengthen existing and future franchise relationships."
