Checkers & Rally's expands Philly-area presence

Checkers & Rally's has opened three restaurants in Philadelphia, according to a press release.

The locations will be owned and operated by multi-unit franchisee Dinesh Goswami, who has three Checkers locations in his portfolio, with the new stores in Philadelphia and Camden totaling six restaurants within Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.

"I am excited to bring more Checkers and Rally's restaurants to the East Coast within my home market," Goswami said in the release. "I've navigated the industry for years and am looking forward to propelling the brand in these cities. In business, my goal is to achieve success while ensuring the well-being of my team members. Through the implementation of Checkers and Rally's innovative new prototype and double drive-thru model, we seek to enhance the dining experience of our guests for many years ahead."

Checkers & Rally's operates 800 restaurants.
