Checkers & Rally's expands South Carolina footprint

Checkers and Rally's has opened a location in Columbia, South Carolina under the helm of experienced restaurateurs The Falcons Group, according to a press release.
A ribbon cutting was held last week and the first 100 guests receive a coupon for a free Big Buford menu item.
"Bringing Checkers and Rally's to Columbia is an exciting new venture for our team and the brand," Shamsu Charania, CEO of The Falcons Group, said in the press release. "We were drawn in by the bold flavors and genuine appeal of the brand. We're eager to not only serve up delicious food but also become an integral part of the vibrant Columbia community, creating lasting relationships and memorable experiences for our guests."
The Falcons Group owns brands like Dunkin', TGI Fridays and Qdoba, with 90 locations in all. He plans to opens more than 50 Checkers and Rally's locations.
Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. is based in Tampa, Florida, and operates more than 800 restaurants.
