December 15, 2009
Checkers/Rally's Drive-In Restaurants is offering a free Big Buford with purchase in limited markets to celebrate the sandwich's re-launch.
Participating Checkers restaurants in the West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mobile-Biloxi, Ala., markets will offer customers a free Big Buford with any purchase from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 18 while supplies last.
Participating Rally's restaurants in the Toledo and Columbus, Ohio, markets offer customers a free Big Buford with any purchase from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 18 while supplies last.
Created more than 20 years ago, the Big Buford is being re-launched with even more meat — 33 percent more meat to be exact — and served on a bakery-style bun. This classic double burger includes two slices of cheese and is piled high with hand-cut fresh toppings.
According to company president and CEO Enrique "Rick" Silva, the new, bigger Big Buford responds to guests' cravings for a fully-loaded burger. To thank those guests, the company is offering the free with purchase giveaway.
