In the midst of the pandemic, Chick-fil-A also said it is temporarily closing dining room seating to help limit person-to-person contact of COVID-19. The brand said some restaurants would strictly offer service through drive-thrus, while others may be capable of offering takeout, delivery or mobile order options.
The brand also closed playgrounds and instituted these measures:
• Drive-thru guests will no longer be offered a printed menu.
• Beverage refill service may change.
As COVID-19 continues to impact restaurants and communities at varying levels, restaurants may implement additional changes such as reducing operating hours, operating drive-thru/curbside/delivery only or offering a limited menu.
It, too, has heightened cleaning protocols and said as the situation evolves, restaurants may implement additional preventative measures to ensure employees' and customers' well-being. Some of those modifications include staffing or service modifications, with each operator communicating changes within his or her restaurant or restaurants, the chain said on its website.
