Chick-fil-A calendar a year-round marketing boost

The News & Observer (Raleigh, N.C.): Chick-fil-A has found success with its annual calendar featuring its famous bovine mascots. The chain is on track to sell more than one million copies at $6 each this year. The calendar offers more than $30 in coupons and helps Chick-fil-A drive repeat traffic year-round.
 
Marketers say the calendar promotion is a shrewd marketing move that is being copied by retailers nationwide.
