Chick-fil-A is taking its show on the road, announcing online through its Twitter account that the brand’s first food truck location opens on Dec. 15 in Houston, where some of the chain’s busiest traditional locations are.
The unit, which will be operated by a current Houston-area franchisee, is receiving final touches and inspections before rolling out for its first day of business. Chick-fil-A said the mobile unit in Houston will feature a limited menu, but no further information was disclosed about plans to mobilize other food truck locations elsewhere in the future.
