Chick-fil-A intros Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken sandwich, Strawberry Hibiscus beverages

Chick-fil-A will add a new chicken sandwich and a line of strawberry hibiscus drinks to its national menu starting March 9, according to a press release.

The Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich features a buttermilk ranch bun, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, tomato and candied bacon flavored with caramelized onions. Strawberry Hibiscus Sunjoy: A blend of lemonade and sweetened iced tea with fruit flavors.
Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade: Available with regular or diet lemonade.
Strawberry Hibiscus Frosted Lemonade: A mix of lemonade and ice cream soft serve.
Strawberry Hibiscus & Sprite: A soda-based version of the fruit blend.

Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A's director of menu and packaging, said the new items are intended to offer "reimagined flavor combinations" of familiar ingredients like ranch and strawberry.

"This year is all about taking the classics that our Guests know and love, and surprising them with reimagined flavor combinations, the Chick-fil-A way," Duncan said in the press release. "Ranch is such a familiar flavor, so we wanted to deliver that in every bite of the new sandwich, but in a way that feels new and unique with customizable heat that delivers just the right kick. Our Strawberry Hibiscus beverages complement these flavors perfectly, and with four totally different ways to experience it Guests can make it their own, every time."

Chick-fil-A has more than 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.K. and Singapore.

The new items will be available at participating locations nationwide while supplies last.
