Chick-fil-A kicks off summer dessert promo

Even as Chick-fil-A is preparing for its Spicy Chicken Sandwich launch by setting up a reservation system, the company also is promoting its dessert. Just in time for the summer season, the company has sent an e-club alert asking its fans to vote on their favorite dessert.
The e-mail allows fans the opportunity to scroll across to view the company's four dessert offerings — Brownie A La Mode, the limited-time Peach Milkshake, Yogurt Parfaits or Icedream Cone — and share their favorite. Fans who click Like or Comment are directed to Chick-fil-A's Facebook page, which tracks the number of people who like each dessert. Guests also can post comments about the dessert.
The e-blast also gives recipients the opportunity to Tweet about the desserts or share via other social networks as well as sign up for text message alerts or pass the e-mail on to a friend.
