Chick-Fil-A offering free food to heroes at store opening

The latest Chick-fil-A in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is forgoing the traditional free food promotion for the first 100 customers.

Instead, the restaurant has identified 100 local heroes and will reward them with Chick-fil-A's signature food, according to a WMBF news report.

The restaurant is located at U.S. 17 and Highway 22 and will open Jan. 20.
