Chick-fil-A testing online reservations for sandwich giveaway

Chick-fil-A is not shy about giving away its food. The company celebrates its Cow mascots every year by offering a free meal to customers dressed as cows. And franchisees are encouraged to regularly offer coupons for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.
 
Now the company is testing a new giveway method, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal. The Jacksonville market is testingonline reservation software developed byMobilization Labsthat will allow customers to make reservations for a free spicy chicken sandwich.The market is one of three testing the sandwich, which the company has announced will debut nationwide in June. Customers who register online and print a confirmation ticket will be admitted to local restaurants during designated giveaway times.
