Chicken Shack celebrates 50 years with 1950s pricing

WARREN, Mich. — The Chicken Shack chain of restaurants will celebrate its 50th anniversary on June 6 with 1950s pricing.
For one day, a four-piece broasted chicken dinner will sell for $1.45 (2006 price $6.99), and a 12-piece tub for $4.95 (2006 price $17.99), with a limit of two per person (while supplies last; white meat and BBQ extra charge). The offer is valid at all 19 Chicken Shack locations.
In addition, the Chicken Shack Road Trip will give away a 42-inch plasma HDTV in a drawing from among people who visit all 19 locations (in Michigan) between June 6 and June 17, a news release said.
