Church's Chicken brings back fan favorite jalapeño jelly sauce

Church's Chicken Tender Strips can now be ordered with two new dipping sauces, including fan favorite Purple Pepper Sauce, a sweet heat jalapeño jelly sauce. The Purple Pepper Sauce has its own fan club, according to a news release, and is back for a limited time.

Also, the new Honey Buffalo BBQ sauce has been introduced, featuring tangy, smoky flavors with some heat.

"Our guests love the taste and great value of Church's freshly prepared, hand-battered and double breaded, Original and Spicy chicken. But they also love our Tender Strips as they get the best of both menu items – the same great tasting recipe with the ease of enjoying the portability of the Tender Strips," said Steve Davis, Church's chief concept officer. "And we're always creating new dipping sauces for our guests that complement our chicken."

Three Tender Strips and a Honey-Butter Biscuit served with a choice of the Honey Buffalo BBQ sauce or Purple Pepper sauce are now available starting at $2.99. The Tenders Meal Deal — three Tender Strips, choice of sauce, Honey-Butter Biscuit and two small sides — is also available starting at $4.99.

The sauces are available through Feb. 23 at participating restaurants.
