Church's Chicken has formed an Executive Advisory Council of franchisees and corporate leaders who will work over the next two years to build business and evaluate current initiatives across the brand with an eye toward strengthening the chicken chain's overall business, a news release said. The council will also regularly update the Church's Independent Franchisee Association board of directors.
The franchisees will work in one of three teams devoted to either operational excellence, new products or what the brand labeled as "people excellence."
"The formation of the council is proof positive that we're willing, ready, and able to 'walk the talk' behind our commitments to our valued franchisees and guests," Church's CEO Joe Christina said in the release. "By bringing top-level strategies and goal-setting together with insight and implementation expertise unique to our franchisees, Church's is in a fantastic position to deliver meaningful results on efforts already in place and to uncover and capitalize on new opportunities."
Self-nomination of franchisees seeking council membership started last month and concluded with selection of these 11 operators, chosen for their individual track records of service, engagement, restaurant operations and profitability:
Church's now has more than 1,500 locations in 23 countries and international territories.
