Church's LTO capitalizes on spice, value

Church's Chicken is pushing its spicy chicken offerings this spring, with an LTO that will put a Spicy Tenders meal deal in diners' hands for $5. The offering comes with three tenders, jalapeno sauce, fries, a honey butter biscuit, apple pie and a jalapeno pepper for squeezing, a news release said. 

"Big, bold tastes are part of our DNA," Church's Vice President of Brand Strategy and Activation Jennifer Chasteen, said in the release. "Church's unique Spicy recipe delivers just the right balance of heat without overshadowing the classic, down-home flavor of our chicken. With our new $5 Spicy Tenders meal, guests can customize their heat level with our Creamy Jalapeño dipping sauce, and of course, our traditional jalapeño pepper."

Church's and sister brand, Texas Chicken, have more than 1,500 stores in countries and international territories.
