Church's Texas Chicken makes Hollywood debut, wants to pay customers' rent

Church's Texas Chicken made its Hollywood debut recently in the TriStar Pictures comedy "One of Them Days." To celebrate the film's release in theaters and at home on digital, the chicken brand is giving guests the chance to win $2,500 to put toward rent in a sweepstakes, according to a press release.

In the film, two roommates navigate an unforgettable day after discovering one of their boyfriends has blown the rent money. The visit a Church's drive-thru to redeem a free apple pie voucher but are enticed by the brand's Honey-Butter Biscuits in a comedic twist.

"At Church's, we're all about giving back to our guests, and what better way to do that than by helping pay their rent?" Joe Guith, CEO of Church's Texas Chicken, said in the release. "We're thrilled to be part of this film and excited to extend the fun beyond the theater with a sweepstakes that gives back in a meaningful way."

The sweepstakes, which opened Feb. 14, will give five winners $2,500 each to put toward their rent. Check out Church's Texas Chicken for more information.
