Church's Texas Chicken and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America have a new national partnership aimed at expanding access to youth mentorship, backed by a $100,000 donation from the restaurant chain, according to a press release.

Over the next year, the organizations will collaborate on events and cause marketing campaigns to create career-connected opportunities for young people across the country.

"At Church's, we are committed to helping give back to the communities we serve and supporting the people who make them strong," Roland Gonzalez, CEO of Church's Texas Chicken, said in the release. "When young people have access to mentorship, real support, and a clear view of what is possible, they are better positioned to succeed. We are proud to help make that happen as we team up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America."

The partnership includes local community engagements and purpose-driven fundraising. Later this year, Church's will sell coupon booklets in select restaurants, with 100 percent of the sales donated to the mentoring organization.

The two groups have already begun their joint efforts, including an August back-to-school supply event at Church's headquarters and a June soccer clinic in Houston that featured a $1,000 donation to the local Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter.

"Every young person deserves a champion in their corner who sees their potential and empowers them to build a pathway toward it," Artis Stevens, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, said in the release. "By partnering with Church's Texas Chicken, we're expanding access to mentorship in the communities that need it most, connecting more young people to caring adults, real-world experiences, and the workforce pathways that build confidence today and opportunity for tomorrow."

Church's Texas Chicken and its international sister arm Texas Chicken have more than 1,500 locations in 25 countries and global markets and systemwide sales of more than $1.6 billion.
