CKE comps up in 3Q

CARPINTERIA, Calif. — Same-store sales at CKE Restaurants Inc.'s Carl's Jr. brand increased 0.7 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period last year, while comps at its Hardee's company-operated restaurants increased 2.7 percent.
Consolidated revenue for the third quarter was $351.6 million, a 0.8 percent decrease from last year's third quarter. Revenue at company-operated restaurants was $273.3 million for the quarter, a 2.7 percent decrease from the same period last year.
Third-quarter net income was $6.2 million, versus $9.5 million in the prior year's third quarter.
