CKE extends ParTech service contract

ParTech Inc. has signed a three-year extension with CKE Restaurants Inc. for PAR's EverServ Lifecycle Services for its Carl's Jr. and Hardee's brands, the company has announced. ParTech Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corp.
PAR is CKE Restaurants' exclusive U.S. service provider for point-of-sale systems at its company-owned Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants throughout the United States, including front-of-house, drive-thru, kitchen management and back-office systems plus all associated peripherals. CKE also uses PAR hardware, the EverServ POS terminals.
Since being selected by CKE in 2006 to be its nationwide service provider, PAR has exceeded extremely high service standards across CKE's nearly 1,000 company-operated Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants, including delivering first-time-fix rates that are well above the 90th percentile. First-time-fix rates are widely considered to be a critical performance metric in the foodservice industry, where downtime from inoperable equipment can severely reduce productivity, customer satisfaction and restaurant revenues.
PAR has tailored its service offering for CKE's requirements, including ensuring fast access to all required hardware parts and components, providing a dedicated nationwide support team and regularly performing preventative maintenance to minimize the risk of unexpected equipment downtime or premature replacement.

PAR's EverServ Lifecycle Services encompass a wide scope of services that includes field service, equipment exchange and help desk support that maximizes the technology investment by an individual restaurant owner/operator. The company also offers IT systems planning and deployment, systems integration, project management, managed services and training.
