CKE Restaurants post strong Q1

CARPINTERIA, Calif. — CKE Restaurants credited its new premium menu items for its strong first-quarter sales.

 

According to a news release, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's both reported a 5.6-percent increase in same-store sales. Carl's Jr. posted $187.1 million in revenue while Hardee's stores reported $189.9 million in revenue.

 

The company did not report net income.
