'Cleveland Rocks' with Taco Bell's test of purple cabbage in a dish

Taco Bell apparently agrees with The Drew Carey Show opening that "Cleveland Rocks!" since the brand selected the city by the lake to test its two latest menu items from the Cantina menu. The two pilot offerings include bowl and burrito variations along with the Mexican QSR's first use of purple cabbage in a dish. 

The first test dish is an Avocado Ranch Bowl with grilled chicken and black beans, mixed with purple cabbage, iceberg lettuce and Pico de Gallo, then layered on seasoned rice, topped with Avocado Ranch Sauce and served with a side of nacho chips and guacamole for $5.49. The dish can also be ordered with grilled steak for $6.49 or as a combo for $7.49. 

The second item is a Chipotle Grilled Burrito with grilled steak, layered with seasoned rice, black beans and Chipotle Sauce, then mixed with purple cabbage, iceberg lettuce, and Pico de Gallo in a flour tortilla. It's also served with a side of guacamole and nacho chips for $6.49, or as a combo with a large drink for $7.49. This item is also available in another variety with grilled chicken. 

Finally, Taco Bell also announced that it has recently opened seven new stores in Alabama, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Florida and Arizona.
