Cold Stone Creamery has launched a new yogurt concept, Cold Stone Frozen Bar, at the Aeon Mall Makuhari Shintoshin in Chiba, Japan.

Cold Stone Creamery has launched a new yogurt concept, Cold Stone Frozen Bar, at the Aeon Mall Makuhari Shintoshin in Chiba, Japan.

Guests choose mix-ins such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, banana, mango and/or cream cheese, a favorite mix-in in Japan. After the yogurt and mix-ins are selected, the fruit and yogurt are combined and 'mixed' using the Cold Stone Creamery Yogurt Mix-In Machine.

"We are really excited to showcase this offering for the frozen dessert lovers of Japan," said Eddy Jimenez, senior vice president of international operations and development at Kahala Brands, in a company press release. "It's a product that brings forth our high product quality and our Japanese guests love watching their yogurt creation being made fresh right there on the spot. It's been wonderful to offer another option to our guests that is low-fat and has a lower caloric count."
