Cold Stone Creamery opens in Cambodia

Phnom Penh residents are enjoying a new yummy dessert these days thanks to the official opening on June 3 of Cambodia’s first Cold Stone Creamery. The location, one of 13 to open over the next five years, celebrated with a kick-off ceremony fit for high-level dignitaries.   

Cambodian Cold Stone franchise owner, Norm Hav, executive director of TH F&B Co. Ltd., joined the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, William A. Heidt, as well as Cambodia's Secretary of State and Ministry of Tourism, Pak Sokhom, and Eddy Jimenez, senior vice president at parent company, Kahala Brands.  

Cold Stone Creamery began growing internationally in 2005 with its first global opening in Tokyo. Today, stores are operating in more than 300 international locations and in 27 countries, including the Philippines, Kuwait, Qatar, Trinidad, Nigeria, Egypt and Indonesia.
