Cold Stone Creamery pairs with Nintendo for summer sweet treats

Cold Stone Creamery is teaming up with Nintendo to showcase three game-inspired Creations and an ice cream cake, according to a press release.

New ice cream flavors include the strawberry-based The Mighty Pink Puff, fruit-and-chocolate themed Island Getaway and Superstar Sprinkle Blast, which features Cake Batter Ice Cream, cake, frosting and sprinkles.

Mario and Luigi from Nintendo's Mario Party will be featured atop the Rainbow Sprinkle Road Ice Cream Cake, made with layers of moist yellow cake, Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Rainbow Sprinkles and blue frosting.

In addition to these sweet treats, three Nintendo-themed Gotta Have It cup designs, each featuring elements from the fan-favorite Nintendo games Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Party Superstars, will be available while supplies last.

"We knew we had to come up with something extra special for our third year, and what better than to feature three of Nintendo's beloved game titles like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Party Superstars. Our guests are going to love collecting their beloved Nintendo characters on special edition cups while enjoying our super-premium ice cream this summer."
