Cold Stone Creamery promotion jumps back to 1950s

Through Aug. 31, Cold Stone Creamery is offering a limited time promotion of retro-inspired treats that are reminiscent of 1950's ice cream parlors.

The special menu includes the new Cherry Vanilla or Chocolate Malt Ice Cream flavors served in a Creation with mix-ins. Or, for $4.99, the Cold Stone Retro Classic lineup features Hot Fudge Sundaes and Root Beer Floats.

"Classic ice cream treats are both nostalgic and comforting," said Ray Karam, Cold Stone Creamery's senior Tastemaster. "The perfect ingredients for a 10 minute vacation."

The full promotion includes:

• Retro Inspired Ice Cream Flavors: Cherry Vanilla; Chocolate Malt
• Promotional Creations: Cherry Vanilla Cherry Pie - Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream with sweet black cherries, graham cracker pie crust and caramel; and Malt My Heart with Chocolate - Chocolate Malt Ice Cream with banana, fudge and whipped topping
• Promotional Shakes: Chocolate Malt
• Cold Stone Retro Classics for $4.99: Classic Hot Fudge Sundae; Classic Turtle Sundae; Classic Banana Royale; and Classic Root Beer Float
