Cold Stone Creamery puts the chill on tacos this Taco Day

Taco Day is not just for taco brands anymore, thanks to Cold Stone Creamery, which is angling to get a bite of the action for tomorrow's "marketing holiday." A news release said that on Thursday, Oct. 4, the brand will serve its ice cream creations in waffle tacos, a news release said.

Customers can choose between a classic waffle bowl or cone or have it dipped or sprinkled.

"Why not celebrate National Taco Day at Cold Stone Creamery?" Cold Stone parent company Kahala Brands Marketing Vice President Sara Schmillen, said in the release. "Being able to celebrate a holiday we typically wouldn't is a great way for us to engage in fun ways with our customers and give them some Insta-worthy pictures!"

The one-day deal is available at the brand's nearly 1,500 locations globally.
