Cold Stone Creamery seeks franchise opportunities in Birmingham, Alabama

Cold Stone Creamery is seeking to expand its presence in Birmingham, Alabama and its surrounding suburbs. The brand plans to open three to six stores in the next three years, according to a press release.

"Cold Stone is a staple in many communities around the nation and for more than 35 years, we've served premium products and created personalized experiences for our customers that's kept them coming back," Blake Borwick, brand leader at Cold Stone Creamery, said in the press release. "We plan to bring the same commitment and support to Birmingham and the entrepreneurs who are inspired to become small business owners who want to spread joy in their community."

Cold Stone Creamery currently has stores in Alabama, with one location currently serving the Birmingham community in Trussville and three additional stores in Huntsville, Dothan and Albertville. The brand is also preparing to open a new location in Auburn.

Cold Stone Creamery is operated by parent company Kahala Brands. Cold Stone Creamery currently has nearly 1,500 locations in approximately 30 countries worldwide.
