Cold Stone launches made-to-order ice cream cookie sandwiches

Cold Stone Creamery has introduced a spin on a classic with its new peanut butter and jelly ice cream in a new limited time Creation named PB&Just Delicious. The offering also includes graham cracker pie crust.

The ice cream can also be ordered between two Nutter Butter cookie wafers for the PB&J ice cream cookie sandwich.

According to a news release, Cold Stone is also offering customers the chance to create their own ice cream cookie sandwich by choosing any flavor of ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies or Nutter Butter cookie wafers.

"The taste of peanut butter and jelly is such a nostalgic flavor and reminds us all of being kids and now we have the opportunity to capture that amazing flavor and feeling in ice cream,' SVP of Marketing Kate Unger said in the release."We have fantastic Creations that everyone loves year round, but we get particularly excited when new ones get introduced. You can't go wrong with this fantastic flavor and our new ice cream cookie sandwiches."

The PB&J Ice Cream Creations is available through Sept. 30.
