Commentary: Burger King has shown 'progress'

MarketWatch: Although it is one of the most recognized brands in the world and the self-proclaimed "King" of America's most ubiquitous culinary icon, fast- food titan Burger King has spent the majority of the past 17 years as a neglected subsidiary of beverage giant Diageo, marked by inefficient operations, disconnected and financially distressed franchisees and declining consumer support.
